This weekend a “pinup” style shoot was scheduled for Laughlin with a hot rod car. What you are about to see is a mix of that goal with a different location and “impromptu” car and more.
I’m calling it the “Route 66″ shoot.  I love the history of Route 66. The song too!

The shoe retail therapy was a bust. The shoes that I wanted oh, like a month ago, were gone! Oh the horror! So I looked in another store, nothing. And another! Nothing!  Finally I ended up at my “spot” for a wee touch of meal replacement shake mixed with nerve tonic.

Ah, enjoy the pic and to each their own.  The HR shoot is pulling together, well. It was short notice, but it’s better than a kick in the pants.  I’ve been contacting ( read: hassling) the magazine for months and finally got a terse response of : “What do you look like with a car?”.

I did a unique event full of fun and learning ( who knew the science behind racing?) at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for MDRA as an Umbrella Girl.

Hope you Dad’s and Grandads are having an awesome day celebrating with family and friends. I”m working on my day off as an Umbrella Girl. ( long story) though I think that I’ll come out of it with new friends and another story to tell.
